Hi! I'm Tom, I'm 29 years old and I'm currently located in Frome, Somerset. I'm currently looking for some harvest work in the UK. I would love to work on a UK arable farm this summer.
Lots of experience and keen to get stuck in.

I have recently returned from New Zealand where I lived for a year and 7 months, on a Working holiday visa, where I worked as a machinery operator. I worked for a large grower called AS Wilcox, based in the Pukekohe region, and a rural contractor down in Dipton, Southland.
Prior to coming to NZ, I spent four years working on farms in Australia where I operated various tractors and harvesters on farms in Victoria, NSW and South Australia. I worked on a tomato harvest, on a cropping operation in South Australia and in NSW, I worked for a harvest contractor called Crop Catchers Harvesting. Having driven a John Deere 8r paired with a 31 ton Dunstan bin, I can safely say that I am confident with operating big kit whilst under pressure!
I'm most experienced with New Holland and John Deere tractors, with both Power Quad and 16 speed Powershift transmissions. I drove a T7 with the auto-command gearbox when hauling grass down south.
Back in the UK, before I left for Australia, I did an apprenticeship in sports turf management. I worked at a golf course as a greenkeeper, and during this role I acquired lots of different practical skills, as well as driving a range of different mowers and aeration equipment. Prior to this I did a summer season at a wholesale plant nursery in Shropshire, which involved carrying out tasks such as potting, weeding, cutting back, and working on a despatch line.
I feel that I am capable and willing to put in the hard work to succeed. I consider myself outgoing, a great team player (and also work well on my own) and very conscientious.
