The role
•Opportunity for a self-motivated individual to take on a varied role including some milking, stock work, machinery work and fencing on a large organic farm
•The farm has two dairy units, both Spring calving and milked once-a-day. This role includes some milking on a rota (a minimum of Friday/Saturday/Sunday every other weekend plus holiday cover).
•Machinery work including feeding, bedding, moving bales competent tractor skills are required, telehandler ticket desirable
•We graze all year round and outwinter, need to be happy working outside in all conditions.
•We also make our own compost so an interest in this is encouraged
