The farm runs 3000 hill Cheviot and Cheviot Mule ewes and 50 Limousin Cross cows over 3800 acres. Our lambs are finished on grass out with the farm over winter. 

The farm is supported by two full time shepherds and a stockman with a valued team of part time staff and contractors. Each staff member has their own responsibilities but combine as a team daily to achieve larger tasks.

We are looking for a capable stockperson/shepherd to join the team full time; with either early March or May start dates feasible dependant on current commitments. The role will involve daily management of the cattle herd and shared responsibility for the sheep flock as well as contributing to broader farm work throughout the year. 

A working dog, tractor and ATV experience is essential.
