We are looking for a Stockperson/Tractor driver to join the team on our 1000 head beef unit in Herefordshire. Applicants must be happy to work on their own, but essential they enjoy working as part of a wider team. Cattle experience and a positive attitude essential! A chance to work with the Farmers Weekly Beef Farmer of the Year 2023.

Job Overview:

All aspects of cattle health and welfare

Feeding cattle through a TMR wagon or calves by hand

Bedding up and scraping

Weighing and trimming cattle

TB testing

Tractor driving, including silaging, corn cart, bale hauling, field cultivations etc.

Machinery maintenance

Cattle fence and housing maintenance.

Woodland management

Any other general farm duties and jobs.

30 days annual leave per annum. Required to work every other weekend, but gets 3 day weekend off.

Competitive salary based on level of experience, reviewed on an annual basis.
