We are recruiting multiple Senior Piggery Stockpersons for one of Australia's leading diversified food and agricultural companies.
The pig farms are based in Cranbrook and Marawa, Western Australia. Established in 1923, the business is now Western Australia's largest vertically integrated pork farming, processing, and wholesaling operation, serving the domestic and export markets, as well as wholesale clients.
Their production model is focused on high animal welfare and environmentally sustainable farming practices.
Key Accountabilities:
Daily shelter checks/water/feed/health/welfare
Keeping accurate records
Machinery operation
Cleaning of shelters/pressure washing
Data collecting and recording
Reporting directly to the Farm Manager
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience as a Piggery Stockperson
The ability to take responsibility, work independently, and be part of a team
Excellent communication
To comply with visa requirements, candidates need 5 years of commercial pig farming experience
Ideally, candidates need to have passed an ELTS test, achieving an overall score of 5 with a minimum of 4.5 in each category or have completed 5 years of full-time study at a secondary institution, and most lessons were in English
Salary guide: $65,835 AUD + superannuation
Plus:
Housing will be offered; tenants will need to cover the rent
