We are a 40,000-bird free range layer poultry operation looking for an experienced and motivated farm manager to take on day to day responsibility for our flock and facilities.

You will oversee all aspects of the poultry production, ensure health and welfare of stock and maintain biosecurity standards. You will also keep machinery and equipment in good working order and play a hands-on role in daily farm work, including occasional egg packing as required and opportunity for assisting on the beef unit with feeding and bedding.

What we are looking for-

-Proven experience in poultry or livestock work.

-Mechanically minded with the ability to carry out basic maintenance and fault find equipment.

-Competent operator of telehandlers and general farm machinery.

-Strong understanding of animal welfare and biosecurity requirements.

-Reliable, organised and able to work both independently and in a small team.

-A calm, safe attitude around livestock at all times.

-Good awareness of farm safety. People, children etc.
