We are a 140 cow dairy herd in West Herefordshire looking for a additional pair of hands to work with our herd of cows, heifers and beef cattle.
We are looking for a full time Dairy Assistant to get stuck in with helping with the management of our herd of high performing Pedigree Holstein cows. We have good facilities with two brand-new Lely robots, robot scraper and feed-pusher.
We are looking for a full time Dairy Assistant to get stuck in with:
Collects and general robot and shed hygiene
Calf feeding and youngstock management
Some tractor work and feeding
General daily livestock and yard duties
We are looking for an all-rounder that wants to grow their knowledge and abilities in dairy farming with a view to take on more responsibility in time. Some agricultural experience would be good but all applicants considered.
