We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic herdsperson to join a team on a family dairy farming business.  The herd running with 550-cows, milked 3 times a day and calving all year.  With milk sales above 12,000 litres per cow, they are housed within truly first-class facilities providing excellent surroundings to apply husbandry and stockmanship as a member of a very skilled and focused team.

The farm seeks, and will reward enthusiasm, livestock skills and commitment, with a diverse role.  You will play an active part in the performance of the herd and youngstock.  The farm has invested with an emphasis on operating as a team and comprises of:

·       Fully automated, 2 man 36:36 Westfalia parlour with auto ID/ auto drafting and ADF.

·       Excellent handling facilities and dairy buildings.

·       Well-staffed with a first class, dedicated team on the farm.

·       Modern cow housing for main milking group.
