Due to business growth, and taking on another unit, we are looking for an experienced individual to join our friendly team as a herds person on our 150 cow autumn calving grazing herd. Our cows are mainly NZ Friesians producing between 5500-6000 L. Cows are extensively grazed and housed for approximately 6 weeks of the year.

The role involves milking twice a day (approx. 2.5 hrs a milking depending on time of year), scraping up, and general herd management. We would ideally like someone who has experience in managing a grazing herd. This role does come with a 3 bedroom house. We can be flexible with shift pattern.
