Livestock Stockperson Required Scottish Borders

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Stockperson to join our busy livestock farm in Peeblesshire, Scottish Borders.

The farm runs approximately 2,500 ewes, 150 suckler cows.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of the cattle herd

Feeding and bedding livestock

Calving in Spring

Tractor work

Sheep husbandry and flock management as required

Working as part of a small, dedicated team

About You

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about livestock farming

Have good stockman ship skills

Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team

Be reliable, hardworking, and able to use their own initiative
