Block-calving, grass-based dairy system

Youngstock reared on farm

Located between Dumfries and Thornhill

The Role:

Working alongside the Farm Manager, you'll play a key role in:

Delivering excellent animal health and welfare standards

Achieving key farm performance targets

Supporting and coordinating the relief team

Working with stakeholders and contractors

Making decisions around grassland management and grazing performance

Helping drive continuous improvement across the farm

What We're Looking For

Have practical experience in grassland management

Have experience leading or supervising people

Enjoy working within a block-calving system

Be passionate about grass-based dairy farming

Hold a full UK driving licence
