Family run mixed farm in the village of Gnosall 8 miles from Stafford in Staffordshire. We milk 550 cows 400 beef cattle 16000 laying birds and grow 450 acres of cereals. We do most of the field work our self's and so are looking for GFW/ tractor driver to spend 25% of there time with livestock and 75% of the time doing tractor work or doing general farm tasks. Slurry spreading with a Josken tanker with a 12m dribble bar, Tedding grass, raking Grass, karting grass/maize/bales, mucking out yards, bedding yards, spreading FYM with bed spreader, small amount of ploughing when we need two plough going. Every other weekend would be working with the cows 4.30am-9.00am in the morning and 2.30pm-6.30pm in the afternoon.
