We are looking for some help on our friendly family dairy and arable farm. The farm is located in Denmead, Hampshire. We are currently milking 240 Holstein X Norwegian Red cows yielding 10,000 litres, which are all year round calving. The herd are TMR fed, cubicle housed during the winter, and paddock/strip grazed through the spring and summer with a good track infrastructure. We also rear all the dairy followers and some store cattle.

The farm is just shy of 600 acres in total with the majority being permanent or temporary pasture for grazing and silage, and 250 acres of arable which consists of combinable crops and maize of which we do all of the work ourselves.

We have a three year old GEA 24:24 milking parlour and a good cubicle system with a slurry robot and ride on cubicle bedder. We also have very good new/modern tractors, telehandler, and machinery.

This is a brilliant opportunity for the right person to join a friendly fun team of people, with a good variation of tasks. We are predominantly a dairy, but being a mixed farm it doesnt matter if you are more livestock or machinery based as there is always plenty going on, and we can be very flexible to suit you.

Tractor/machinery and livestock experience is preferred, however not totally necessary as for the right candidate we would be more than happy to train you. A friendly happy attitude with a good willingness to learn is more important to us.

Working hours and days can be flexible and can be discussed, whether it is full time or part time, however full time is preferred.
