We have a position for a capable, committed and conscientious General Farm Worker. They will join the team looking after a block spring calving herd of 250 dairy cows plus followers, on a 1200 acre mixed farming enterprise. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with practical skills and livestock experience who is comfortable being part of a motivated team where everyone contributes.
Duties include (but are not restricted to):
•Relief milking
•Daily livestock care
•Grassland and field management
•Machinery operation and maintenance
•General farm and land upkeep

We are situated in a beautiful area of North Dorset. The farm team is young, energetic and innovate. The dairy was started in 2021 with a new parlour. Outside contractors are used for major field operations, silage, crop establishment and combining. We value continuous learning and a work/life balance. 6 days off each month, 28 days holiday.
