A full time position on a mostly arable farm with a pig B&B enterprise. Farming and contracting farming approx 2,000acres in North Northumberland we are looking to fill a position after the retirement of a long term member of staff.
The position is primarily arable, tasked with all arable operations and working within the small team. You will be operating our 36m Agrifac Sprayer, Case 9230 with Macdon header and involved in cultivation and crop establishment. Good workshop skills and record keeping as well as a can do attitude are required. Other tasks will include mucking out pig sheds, loading grain wagons, operating a 360 excavator, and general farm maintenance.
We have a diverse range of equipment from semi retired classics like Ford/ Versatile 946 & JD7810 a CLAAS 85E, New Holland T7's and Massey 7 series.
Cultivations include ploughing, Min-till and direct drilling.
Weekend work will be required during harvest, spring drilling and spraying periods.
