S****** T**** Cereals is seeking a motivated operator to take a hands-on role and support the farm manager with day-to-day tasks, ensuring effective teamwork and high standards of workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A mechanical mindset

- A tidy and organised approach to the workplace, this includes yards, buildings and machinery

- The ability to keep accurate records for crop operations and livestock health

- An understanding of health & safety best practice

Main duties:

- Primary cultivations (ploughing/DTX/cultipressing)

- Rolling

- Grain carting

- Feeding and bedding cattle

- Bale carting (straw and silage)

- Raking and tedding

- Muck spreading

- Opportunity to train on fertiliser spreading, seed drilling, baling, and combine

-A full UK driving licence

- A telehandler certificate (training can be provided)

- PA1 & PA6 certificates (desirable but not essential)

- A chainsaw certificate (desirable but not essential)

- Experience with GPS/auto-steer (desirable but not essential as training provided)
