We are looking for a reliable and experienced Farm Operative to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong agricultural knowledge who is confident operating farm machinery.

Key Responsibilities

•Operating tractors, telehandlers and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently

•Carrying out general farm duties and supporting day-to-day operations

•Assisting with seasonal work, including cultivation, harvesting and maintenance

•Completing routine machinery checks and reporting faults

•Maintaining high standards of health, safety and crop welfare

•Working independently and as part of the wider team

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

•Previous experience in a similar agricultural or farm-based role

•Proven experience driving tractors and operating a telehandlers

•Good practical knowledge of farming and agricultural operations

•A flexible and dependable approach to working hours, particularly during busy periods

•The ability to work safely, responsibly and with minimal supervision

•Good communication and teamwork skills

•A valid driving licence

•Relevant machinery certificates or licences are desirable
