Our facilities include what is arguably one of the best multi-bay farm workshops in the industry, equipped to support a wide range of agricultural maintenance and repair operations.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Farm and Estate Mechanic to join our small dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about agricultural machinery maintenance and repairs.

We have the ambition to invest in additional equipment including advanced diagnostics equipment and explore undertaking manufacturer warranty work for the right candidate.

You will be working with a fleet of modern farm machinery, but the role is varied and will also require work on a wide range of vehicles and machinery across all estate enterprises. We are prepared to invest in training and assist in developing any skillsets that may need additional support.

Key Responsibilities

•In-season repairs and out-of-season refurbishment of farm equipment

•Maintenance, servicing, and repair of agricultural machinery and estate vehicles, including 4x4s and 7.5t vehicles.

•Planning, recording, and co-ordination of all service work.

•Stock control and ordering of spares & consumables.

•Desire to utilise and support the daily check reporting system we have in place.

Person Specification

Essential:

•Approachable manner and ability to work in a small skilled team.

•Ability to deal with a wide range of requests from across a diverse estate business.

•Experience in agricultural machinery maintenance and repairs.

•Good communication and record-keeping skills.

•Computer literate.

Desirable:

•Fabrication skills.

•Vehicle MOT preparation experience.

•Experience with commercial vehicles.
