A full time position is available for an experienced and skilled arable operator on our family farm in North Northumberland.

Growing combinable crops across 3 farms within a 3 mile radius. The farm is well equipped with modern machinery, John Deere tractors, experience with Green Star guidance would be an advantage.

The main responsibilities will be:

Drilling - John Deere 8RX, Horsch Focus/Lemken combination

Sprayer operator - Agrifac Condor 5

Relief combine operator

Cultivations, subsoiling

Loading grain lorries

Silage/hay making

In Winter some cattle livestock work will be required, including feeding, bedding and mucking out

Machinery maintenance and general farm work

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, able to work in a team but also on their own

Experience with a 360 excavator would be an advantage

Further training will be provided throughout the role
