We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 6th July and running through to the end of Harvest in September.
The farm is located in the Lincolnshire Wolds near Alford, between Louth and Skegness, producing feed wheat, malting barley, oilseed rape, beans, and vining peas. The farm operates a wide range of modern machinery and utilises a 10,000 tonne central storage facility.
Responsibilities for this role will be split between running the central grain store and tractor work. You will be responsible for the management of all grain entering the farm yard, including the operation of a JCB telehandler, Svegma grain dryer and all associated record keeping. Tractor work will include corn carting using a Case Puma and Bailey trailer, topping, rolling and wider farm work.
A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
A telehandler certificate is desirable, but training can be provided.
