We are looking for someone to join our team at our autumn calving dairy farm in Oxfordshire. We operate a 600 cow cross bred herd which calves from mid Aug to end of Oct, grazes for 24 hours from April to September and are housed on sand bedded cubicles for the winter months. Milking takes place through a 60 point rotary parlour resulting in sensible milking times. The farm is well invested with excellent facilities and is an enjoyable place to work with good staff retention. We are looking for someone to take on the role of calf rearing. We are very pleased to invest in our staff and further training will be provided if required. The role would suit a college/Uni leaver, someone wanting to further their experience of calf and youngstock rearing or someone wanting a stable, secure future in milk production. Professional training in DIY AI, foot trimming and telescopic loader training will be provided if of interest. Placement students are also welcome to apply. Good, three bedroomed accommodation is provided with the role.
