Assistant Calf Rearer required South West Scotland

As a calf rearer you will be joining the existing team in calf care and development. Looking after 2000 calves a year.

There will be times you will be needed to support with other farm duties and milking.

Main roles will be

- Feeding,dehorning, vaccinating and administration of medicines when needed.

- Help maintaining records and reporting to senior management with any issues.

- Keeping calf house tidy and clean.

- Washing pens between batches.

- Milking in a 70-point rotary if required.

- Working every 2nd weekend.

- Have a passion for cow and calf welfare.

- Ability to check cows calving and help do colostrum management.
