Assistance Youngstock Manger to join our expanding beef enterprise. This is a hands on role assisting our youngstock manager to look after the 1000 dairy cross calves from arrival on farm at 3 months old to when they go into our finishing unit at our other yard between 18 and 21 months old.

We are family based farm, farming 2000Ha and finishing 2000 Angus/Hereford dairy crosses a year. 3 month old calves arrive in May & June to be grazed on herbal leys and creep fed through the first summer. They're outwintered on forage crops, have a second summer rotationally grazing herbal leys before indoor finishing on a TMR by an average of 21 months old going into Dovecote Park and Grassroots Farming. Newly built undercover handling facilities, freshly fenced farms, new machinary...no expense spared to ensure the highest standards are maintained. High herd health with a regenerative approach to mixed farming to better look after our soils, animals, crops and most importantly our team.
