We are looking for a motivated assistant herdsperson to join our dynamic team, farming on the beautiful North Devon coastline.

Reporting to the farm manager, our assistant herdsperson will assist with grass measuring & grazing block management, along with data inputting & collection & will carry out regular parlour duties.

Experience in A.I. & foot trimming would be an advantage & a willingness to learn new skills is essential. This opportunity would suit someone with a good level of experience, looking to take on some new challenges as the role progresses, leading to more responsibility & autonomy.

Our Organic farm has 370 autumn calving cows, grazed during the summer months, cubicle housed & TMR fed during the winter months.

We have well maintained machinery & infrastructure with a 32/64 parlour with auto segregation & auto footbath. For our calves we have modern calf housing with a milk pasteuriser & an e.i.d. weigh system.

Our staff work a 5 day week, with a day off every weekend & a modern 3 bedroomed house is available on-site, with far reaching sea views. Shops, schools & amenities are within a 5 minute drive.
