Assistant herds person required

We are currently looking for a new herdsperson to join us to assist with our spring block calving herd at Ballantrae , SW Scotland, KA26.

Our herd is mainly Holstein Friesian X , milked twice a day through a 70 point de laval rotary parlour with auto id , retention bars , teat sprayer , ACRs etc .

Were looking for a team player who enjoys working with cows and takes pride in stockmanship.

The role includes includes: Milking daily, Feeding, scraping & bedding when housed, Helping with calves during calving and rearing season, setting fences for rotational grazing, etc

Variety of Accommodation available on farm and school bus pick up routes.

We can accept applications that require visa sponsorship. However, the UK government has currently withdrawn the possibility of sponsorship for agriculture international work visas making employing anyone currently without a sponsored work visa from outside the UK impossible.
