A 500 acre mainly grass extensive grazing operation, 30 mins from Cardiff, 10 mins from Cwmbran with 400 block calved crossbred cows, flying herd, and milked via a 24x48 parlour with ACR's is looking for a suitably qualified assistant GFW.

Duties will include assisting the hands on farm manager and other staff with all aspects of day to day operations to include some milking's, general stock work and some yard tractor work. 

Farm experience to include: milking's would be preferred for this role, also teleandler and quad certificates would be useful but full training can be supplied. Rota will be 4 to 8 am and again at 3 - 7 pm, covering 8 hour days with alternate weekends off in an 11 days on 3 off system.
