Full-time, permanent. Near Oakham, Rutland

£30,000 - £35,000 p.a. depending on experience

The Farm

A productive mixed farm in Rutland, farming on regenerative principles, direct drilling and min-till primary, pragmatic inversion where needed. Arable rotation includes Wildfarmed wheat and barley, OSR, oats, peas, beans, linseed, and fertility-building leys, with livestock integrated into the rotation. Modern, well-maintained kit with precision guidance throughout.

The Role

Higher-skilled arable work is the primary focus cultivating, drilling, and spraying alongside harvest support, grassland/forage operations, and winter livestock work. Fencing, machinery maintenance, and general farm tasks year-round.

Essential

Proven tractor operator experience on an arable or mixed farm

PA1/PA2 spraying certificates

Sound arable agronomy knowledge

Full driving licence

Desirable

Telehandler experience

Livestock handling experience

GPS familiarity

Ag. software familiarity

What We're Looking For

Someone with solid arable skills who's equally comfortable turning their hand to livestock and grassland work. You should be genuinely interested in regenerative farming, understanding the why behind decisions on cultivations, rotations, and livestock integration and reliable across all seasons, not just harvest.
