Arable Farm Operator Full Time (Permanent)
Location: East Hampshire
Due to the expansion of the arable enterprise, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sprayer operator to join our team on a family run mixed farm. The business operates 3000+ acres in the South Downs National Park, running a fleet of John Deere tractors and combines, JCB telehandlers and both Bateman and John Deere Sprayers. Alongside the arable enterprise we have a commercial flock of 400 breeding ewes.
The Role
Spraying and liquid fertiliser applications
Understanding of precision farming technology
Working closely with agronomist and farm manager
Day-to-day crop operations and Estate Management
Enthusiasm for the role and an aptitude for working both independently and in a team
The Candidate
Full UK drivers license
Spraying tickets - PA1/PA2 and PA4 certifications essential
Experience in large machinery operation
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to maintain equipment
Telescopic Handler Certification CPCS/NPORS
