Preferred Requirements:

- Minimum 1 seasons experience in tractor operation

- A strong understanding of various mixed cropping farming techniques and machinery techniques advantageous

- Proficiency in operating a range of agricultural equipment, including telehandlers, tipping trailers, and combine harvesters a bonus!

- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure optimal performance of the machinery

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and well-organized work

- Follow correct guidance and farm protocols to produce, harvest and store crops successfully

- Use knowledge and skills to carefully manage the soil and enhance soil quality environment

- Look after the machinery to a very high standard.

- An all round good character! Able to have a laugh on the yard but also get the work done!

- Demonstrated track record of success in a similar role within the agriculture industry

- Eligible for NZ Working Holiday Visa

Preferred Qualifications:

- Full International Drivers License

- Certification or Diploma in Agriculture a bonus!
