1,500 acre farm requires drivers to assist with harvest, this includes grain, straw, grass drying and haylage manufacturing. This continues with cultivation tasks into the autumn. On wet days there are machinery and estate maintenance tasks to do.

We grow grass, lucerne, wheat, oats, barley and buckwheat.

We are in a Countryside Stewardship and have rolled it over!

You would be joining a farm team of 12 on a family run, busy farm and feed manufacturing business, to do a variety of tasks. These would depend on experience, and could include leading/carting, grass raking, operating baler, forage wagon, mowers, discs, Kverneland Qualidisc, flatlift, etc. We would provide you with further training on the different jobs, as the season changes.

You need a full driving licence and be able to speak English.

Immediate start, as we are currently drying grass and start Haylage production in June.
