Using an ATV Quad Bike to take soil samples on client's farms, this involves driving the machine across fields, using an automatic sampler to collect soil and then bagging the soil up ready for collection by courier at our premises. Requires basic agricultural background and knowledge of arable farming. Good people skills will be required for liaising with customers to organise daily work. Further training will be provided. A clean, full driving is required, to travel to clients farms, using a vehicle provided to tow the ATV. The successful candidate will be required to use a tablet PC mounted on the ATV. They will also be required to document the appropriate paperwork for the work carried out in the field. The working day will start at the premises of our company as this is where they will collect the bike and truck to then travel to the designated field, consequently an early start is required. The day is likely to start at 6am and to finish at 6pm although this is subject to change.
