We are a large mixed farm with around 75% arable, 25% grass, 6-year arable rotation with minimal work contracted. Livestock is mainly dairy beef rearing and finishing as well as our suckler herd and sheep.

This is a permanent role to be part of a dedicated, professional farming team. The job will involve all aspects of mixed farming using our John Deere tractors and JCB handlers: hauling, applications, cultivations, drilling, telehandler work, livestock duties, grass operations, workshop and estate maintentance.

The candidate:

• Must be a confident machine operator (1-year minimum experience)


• Happy to use technology, but training will be provided


• Full UK license essential


• First aid, telehandler and other certificates an advantage but not essential


• Mechanical maintenance, fencing and GPS experience are an advantage but not essential
