We are looking for a Herdsperson to join the team near Holmes Chapel in Cheshire

The Farm:

229 ha all grass organic dairy farm.

310 Late summer/autumn calving block

Good grazing infrastructure /Winter housed on sawdust cubicles

160 replacements reared on farm

28/28 Alpha Laval milking parlour

Arla organic milk contract

The team includes 3 full time members

The role:

Proven experience in all aspects of herd management

A good understanding of grass- based systems

Good communication skills, ability to work with the team and report to the farm owner

Experience in AI and footcare

Experience in record keeping

Proven ability to ensure milk hygiene standards
