We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic individual to join a small friendly team on our family farm near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

- 130 cows + followers + store cattle.

- Lely robotic milkers with grazing, robotic slurry scraper and robotic silage pusher

- New calf shed

- All year round calving, except Christmas

- Forward thinking business committed to continual improvement.

Candidates must

- Have previous experience of Dairy farming

- Have a full driving license

- Ideally be able to DIY AI and Hoof trim, although training can be provided.

We sell our milk via Arla Welfare Pro + Grazing contract. Therefore high standards are to be maintained and where possible improved.

The successful candidate will

- Be responsible for the day to day management and care of the Dairy herd

- Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and cleanliness

- Achieve successful AI results

- Plan for and meet all necessary hygiene standards

- Assist with profitably increasing production

- Basic maintenance of robots and dairy hygiene

- Rear calves and Youngstock
