Job Opportunity - Hersperson - Hampshire

We have an opportunity for a self motivated and ambitious individual to join a small team on a pasture based Spring block calving dairy farm in the South Downs National Park. Milking 300 cows through a 24/48 herringbone parlour with adf, shedding gate and backing gate. We aim to complete work to a high standard in a positive working environment. Maintaining a tight calving block and maximising the potential of our grazing platformare two of the many key areas the successful applicant would be involved in.

Responsibilities include:

All aspects associated with the health and well being of the herd

Assisting others in the team to complete tasks as required

Other duties such as basic tractor/telehandler driving, feeding, bedding, fencing and maintenance will provide variety to the role

The candidate:

Experience is essential

Animal welfare is a priority

Full UK Driving License essential

Accommodation on farm available.
