We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Herdsman to join our team on a well-established organic, grass-based spring calving dairy farm milking 400 cows. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about high-welfare, pasture-focused organic systems and looking to take pride in herd performance and day-to-day stockmanship.

You will be involved in all aspects of herd and youngstock management, including:

•Milking with the team in a 24/48 herringbone parlour

•Calving (block FebruaryApril)

•Grassland management and grazing decisions

•Heat detection, herd health monitoring, and recording

•Animal handling, treatments, and general welfare oversight

Youll work closely with the farm manager/owners to maintain a clean, calm, and productive environment for both animals and staff.
