Seasonal Harvest Operators
Join one of the region's leading farming businesses, part of the historic B****** Estates. Our operation spans over 5,500 acres of combinable crops (plus an area of maize for 2026) across owned, contract-farmed and additional contracting land. We run a modern, progressive system and pride ourselves on high standards, efficiency and a motivated, supportive team.
Our arable enterprise is equipped with state-of-the-art grain facilities, including a new optical colour sorter, and operates 2 combines, 2 x 36m sprayers and 2 x 12m drills to deliver a high-output, well-organised harvest.
The Role
We are recruiting four seasonal harvest operatives to support a wide range of work, including:
• Grain carting and harvest support
• Straw operations (including our own 6-string baler)
• Cultivations and muckspreading
• Cover crop and OSR establishment
• Hay and silage work for the estate's cattle herd, deer park and safari enterprises
• Additional contracting tasks as required
This is a genuinely varied role offering exposure to all aspects of a large mixed-farming operation.
