We have a vacancy for a General Farmhand near Lochgilphead, Argyll.

We have a long tradition of producing quality livestock, with 1500 sheep and a home bred beef herd of 200 suckler cows and 25 Highland cattle.

The position will involve all aspects of livestock farming and general farm work. You will be reporting to the Farm Manager.

The successful candidate:

A positive and enthusiastic manner

Able to work in a small, multi-skilled team with a flexible, hands-on approach to stock farming and estate work

Ideally you have a recognised qualification or experience in aspects of livestock husbandry, as well as general farm and machinery work

Full driving licence

We will pay a dog allowance for up to four working dogs

The successful candidate will also be prepared to make their home here.
