Farm worker required for a busy arable, beef and sheep farms in Renfrewshire.

We grow 300 acres of grain and so the job involves working ground, rolling and helping with tractor driving at harvest.

We also have a small suckler herd and so knowledge of working with cattle would be an advantage.

We have a flock of around 500 breeding ewes some of which are lambed indoors and outdoors in April. We finish around 200 of the lambs each year with the rest being sold for breeding or as stores. Working with sheep would be part of the job too.

Our equipment is all modern with Massey Ferguson tractors and Claas harvesting machinery. We have a JCB Loadall and so a telehandler certificate is required too.

The successful applicant must be self motivated and able to work under their own initiative to a high standard.

We take pride in the appearance of our farm and our stock and the successful applicant would be expected to do the same.
