A mixed farm in South Norfolk, near Diss, is looking for a full-time farm employee.

The role is primarily livestock-based, working on our continuous-flow pig unit, which is currently expanding. Previous pig stockman experience is required. Day-to-day duties will include general stockman tasks such as straw bedding, mucking out pig sheds, moving pigs, and assisting with loading pigs onto lorries some workshop skills are a bonus.

There is flexibility within the role depending on the successful candidates skills and interests. The farm also operates 300 acres of arable land, and tractor driving opportunities are available for candidates with the relevant experience and interest.

We have an excellent straw setup for a farm of this size, running two straw balers and two straw chasers, and typically bale and cart between 15,00025,000 bales per year. Harvest time therefore includes a significant amount of straw stacking and shed work.
