Responsible for the day to day management of the farming enterprise. Which consists of approximately 900Acres, 1000 breeding Ewes, 55 Luing Cows & 20+Heifers & forage crops He/She needs to be able to implement the farm plan as agreed with the owners, including but not limited to Livestock Health & Welfare, Maintenance & Upkeep of Farm and equipment, Animal Husbandry, Record Keeping of movements etc, Subsidy & any other applications as well as working towards an agreed annual budget. This position offers a great deal of flexibility and independence but requires an all round person who is well organized and comfortable working on his own and at the same time organizing contractors as and when the farm requires it.
