Farm Assistant Mixed Farming Enterprise

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a progressive and well-respected mixed farming business, specialising in beef and arable production.

This is a hands-on role offering the chance to be involved in all aspects of the farming operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the beef enterprise, including livestock care and grassland management, while also supporting the arable side of the business during peak seasonal periods.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work, with a strong attention to detail and a tidy, organised approach. Previous experience working with livestock, particularly suckler herds, is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate. A calm and confident manner when handling animals is important.

Key responsibilities:

Daily care and management of the beef herd

Grassland management and maintenance

Assisting with arable operations during busy periods

General farm duties as required
