We are looking for a new person to join our farm. We are a family based farm in the Midlands, operating a high health pig enterprise, alongside a biomass and firewood business.

The role is varied, with time each day split between all elements of the business. It would suit someone looking to develop broad farm managerial skills, alongside supporting the owner in all day to day tasks.

Livestock experience essential, but does not have to be with pigs, as training will be provided. Most jobs are completed using machinery, so you must be competent on telehandler and tractor, plus have a UK driving license.

You must be able to work under your own initiative. For the right candidate, this is a progressive role with the chance to take on sole responsibility for various elements of the farm operations.

Pay dependent on experience, a very competitive package including pension is available for the right person wishing to join this small, hard working farm. The farm is newly built, you would be operating within modern buildings, with new/well maintained equipment.
