We require a herdsperson to join our progressive family farming business. We are a multi site dairy and arable farming business near Marlborough, Wiltshire. We are looking for someone to join one of our autumn calving herds, milking 240 cows on a grass/forage based system.

The role will be to support taking responsibility for the herd, working alongside the herd manager and other team members to achieve targets set. This will include regular milking, stock welfare and hygiene along with working with the business owners to drive efficiency and performance. You will need a track record of working on a dairy farm, ideally with experience of a pasture based and block calving system. Be ready to progress your career on a farm led by owners who are fully committed to developing their team.

In return, we'll offer you a competitive salary, regular time off with a working pattern of 11 days on and 3 days off with 28 days holiday. Accommodation can be provided in a 3 bed house. We will also invest in your further training and development to continue to progress your farming career. We feel it is important for regular team meetings and to take part in local discussion groups.
