We are looking for a full time dairy herdsperson to work along side two experienced herdsmen on a 300 cow autumn block calving herd in East Sussex.

The role will involve daily milking, yard scraping, calf feeding during the calving season, fencing, and all other aspects of keeping the herd healthy and achieving quality hygienic milk production.

Cows are milked twice a day through a 30 point rapid exit parlour, grazed in the summer months and housed through the winter on a self feed maize/grass silage system. Replacement heifer calves are transferred to our separate rearing unit and return to the dairy at two years old to calve into the herd.

Competitive salary based on experience.

Regular time off within a flexible rota, 25 days paid holiday per year plus Bank Holidays.
