We milk up to 200 cows on a coastal dairy farm in beautiful North Pembrokeshire and are seeking a motivated and energetic individual for a seven months fixed term contract to assist our Herd Manager and his team to deliver and rear calves and undertake other general farm activities.

A small annex to the main Farmhouse is available for the duration of the fixed term contract. It consists of a small bedroom (suitable for single occupancy only), utility/kitchen area, toilet/shower room and living room.

This beautiful dairy farm has the rugged and spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path running along its coastal boundary and has been farmed by the same family for over 60 years. We would value a candidate with prior experience of growing up or working on a dairy farm but we are also happy to consider other strong candidates with other experience or qualities. This role would suit a gap year graduate or a vet student looking for dairy farming experience. For the right candidate, some relief milking experience may also be available. The candidate would need to already have the right to work within the UK when they applied. The service accommodation and role is suitable for a single person. The temporary employee will be required to submit time sheets on a monthly basis and will be paid on the basis of an agreed hourly rate.
