A New role on a 600 cow housed Dairy Unit in beautiful surroundings between the Coast and Exmoor in North Devon.

This is a great opportunity for a dairy farming family to work in a fantastic location, with great facilities and a great team. As this is a new role, the requirements for the successful applicant can be quite flexible, but the non negotiables are someone who is a great cow person, has a great sense of humour, has a strong work ethic and is ambitious. It's a 50 hour week over 5 days with alternate weekends. Milking will be 3 or 4 sessions a week.

We have a well resourced unit - newly built in 2015 - with a 40:40 herringbone parlour and lots of added extras across the whole unit. The best bit is the house which is 10 minutes from the dairy unit. It is a 3 bed part of a traditional Devon longhouse on the edge of Exmoor. Great views of amazing countryside with two great primary schools within 5 minutes drive.

We will pay you well, but will want plenty in return. The herd (flying) has great potential, and it will be yours to drive alongside a well established senior herdsman and a young UK team with ambitious owners.
