Farming background

I have grown up on livestock farms where I have most of my experience in livestock. I've been helping my dad throughout my time at school and now I currently work and live away from home and have done since the age of 16. All previous work since then has been with livestock both beef and sheep enterprises. The previous job had consisted of 150 breeding cows and 2500 breeding ewes.

After leaving my last livestock job in 2020 I then went on to doing seasonal harvest jobs where I planned on getting better with machinery as I always planned that if I got my a chance at my own farm I could attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. From doing this I have 4 seasons down south under my belt where I have worked between 5 different contractors and big arable farms, going back to the same places twice, and one season at metcalfe farms.
