Farming background

I started working in UK agriculture in 2021 as a calf rearer, where I was responsible for feeding, bedding, cleaning, and basic health checks and treatments for youngstock. I also operated telehandlers (mainly JCB) for feeding and straw work, and used Gators for moving around the farm. I gained confidence working independently in livestock sheds and maintaining clean and safe environments for the animals.

In 2024, I moved into a general farm worker role. My daily tasks included operating tractors (Case IH, New Holland) with GPS systems (Trimble RTX, AFS Pro 700) for power harrowing, tedding, silage and bale transport, and slurry spreading using large tankers (Redrock 4000 gal). I also operated telehandlers (JCB and Kramer) for stacking, bedding, and general handling work.

Ive been involved in all major farm tasks, including scraping sheds, yard cleaning, fencing, and assisting with livestock handling. Im confident working alone, solving problems on the go, and keeping equipment maintained with basic workshop skills (greasing, oil/filter checks, etc.). I take pride in being organised, reliable, and focused on getting the job done well.

Where would you like to work?

Im looking for tractor work on a larger farm or with an agricultural contractor. I enjoy working with machinery and GPS systems. Open to jobs across the UK, as long as accommodation is provided. Prefer well-organised farms with modern equipment.
