New Zealand on work holiday visa

September 24 June 25

Worked at Brownriggs Agriculture on a vegetable farm, driving John Deere tractors, onion bed forming, discing, power harrowing, rotary hoe, irrigation and muck spreading.

Worked at Phillip Parry contracting during silage season with Fendt tractors and JCB loaders, loading bales, buck raking, muck spreading and discing on steep terrain. Basic livestock work with sheep, cattle and deer. Digger work for putting in water pipes on a station.

Sheraton Hall Farm, Wingate Dec 2022 to September 24

Returned to Sheraton Hall to do wood clearance, using JCB 13 tonne digger. Cultivating, rolling, mowing chain harrowing, tree cutting, mucking out, loading wagons using a Manitou and other general farm duties. Worked all hours needed during harvest, using New Holland T7 tractors. Fencing, gate repairs and general farm maintenance.

Woodland Close Farm Trimdon 2023- 2025

Worked additional evening and weekends to support with lambing season for 3 seasons, delivered lambs, feeding duties, mucking out and supported with other general related duties as needed.

Hulam farm, Castle Eden - May 2022 to Dec 2022

Working full time at Hulam farm, was taken on full time immediately after my college exams. Driving tractors leading corn. Loading the drier, checking grain temperature and general other farming duties as required.

Cultivating, rolling, mowing chain harrowing, tree cutting, mucking out, loading trailers using a Manitou and other general farm duties work experience

I now have a breadth of experience in different farming duties and tasks, having undertaken 9 months in New Zealand to expand my knowledge and experience. I learn new skills quickly and easily and I am very keen to develop further. I am very fit, strong and hardworking. I am keen and willing to learn with good transferrable skills from my previous employment. Ive learned to work independently using my own initiative and also as a team player when needed.

I also have a current full clean driving license and my own car and have experience of driving a variety of machinery.
